A recent Google customer said they could not get pricing from Casella Waste Systems in two weeks and called its pricing practices deceptive. On Google the company holds 2.8 stars from 19 ratings. A 2024 customer said the rates were good in the beginning but kept getting raised without notice. That 2024 customer said the company was fussy about what trash it would take, that it left more behind than it took, and that the owner was rude and sarcastic on a call to the office; they dropped the service and now go to the dump themselves. A 2022 customer said they had used the company for years without trouble until oil or grease was spilled at the top of their driveway and the company refused to clean it up. In that 2022 review, the customer said the spill also ran down the entire street.
Deceptive pricing practices. Could not get pricing in 2 weeks. Not impressed.
Their rates were good in the beginning but kept getting raised without notice. They were also fussy about what trash they take. They left more behind than what they took. Called office one time and got the owner who was very rude and sarcastic. Ended up dropping them. I now go to the dump myself and have saved a lot of money.
Polite and professional. They are friendly and respect your time when you call them. Easy to work with and they pick up like clock work. The last company stopped service abruptly and ABC had me scheduled the same week to pick up.
Used them for years and they were fine. Then, they spilled oil or grease at the top of my driveway and refused to clean it up. Wasn't even my grease. Lady on the phone said "they put cardboard on it". It looks horrible and is really large. They also spilled it down my entire street. Total disregard for my property and the environment. Completely unprofessional.
