Casella's Old Orchard Beach site is a transfer station: the company describes it as a drop-off point where materials are collected, consolidated, and transported out for processing or disposal. Its website states 50 years in business. A recent customer called the people running the dump unfriendly and said they had bad experiences there several times. A 2024 reviewer said a Casella driver tailgated their Jeep on Rte 302, flashing the headlights and blowing the horn, and that they complained to Bridgton Police. A 2023 customer said they fought for over a week to have it cleaned and were told the driver had an emergency.
The people running the dump are the least friendly people. I’ve been here several times and had bad experiences. They are so bothered to do their job there probably the least friendly people All of them have wicked attitudes places, a joke
I was Road Raged Monday July 22nd on Rte 302 at approximately 1300. A driver committed a 180° turn at the Mountain Rd intersection in front of me while I had a motorcyclist behind me. I blew my horn continued on. Well before the Sweden Rd intersection your driver was now behind me since I had been passed by the motorcycle. He continuously flashed the headlights and blew the horn while tailgating dangerously close to my Jeep until I turned at 22 Main Street Bridgton. Your drivers destination was Music on Main. I wrote to them and complain to Officer Hammond @ Bridgton Police
Poor service. Lack of cleaning. Fought for over a week to have it cleaned... Oh maybe tomorrow, driver had an emergency he'll be there Monday.
