Catanzaro & Sons

Catanzaro & Sons is a Barrington painting and carpentry company; its BBB page describes residential and commercial painting plus carpentry repairs and installations like siding and finish work. The company says it has been in business 30 years, and it carries an A+ grade and accreditation on the BBB. A recent customer says the crew painted their house at a fair price and has painted a couple of houses on the same street. A recent customer says the crew cleaned up after the job each day, and management accommodated a request to finish sooner than planned because visitors were arriving. The Barrington Farm School says the company donated its labor and time to build a shade structure at the school on Federal Road, working through heat and rain and finishing before a fundraiser as promised. A 2015 BuildZoom reviewer said paint on the south side of the house began peeling the summer after the job, and by year 4 the side facing the street was badly peeled. That 2015 reviewer wrote that the owner, Hank Catanzaro, looked at the shingles, said they hadn't been sanded and promised to return with a moisture meter and an estimate, but never did; the reviewer said a later phone call ended with him yelling and swearing. A recent Google reviewer said a driver in a company truck ran through lights and nearly hit them.
