Ten years of lawn care, shrub pruning and seasonal cleanups is how one August 2026 customer describes their relationship with Central Mass Landscapes. The customer calls the work reliable and says the team is accessible for questions and suggestions. The Worcester company says it has been in business for 20 years and offers landscape maintenance, fertilization, design and construction, excavation, trucking, and commercial snow and ice management in Worcester and Central Massachusetts. Another August 2026 reviewer praises quick responses and collaboration on a project’s design, saying the finished space brought their ideas to life. In June 2025, a customer described mowing that was tidy and efficient, with the crew showing up as promised. A separate June 2025 reviewer said Chris and his team had worked for them for years, arrived when expected and stayed until the job was finished, leaving the property immaculate. An August 2024 customer credited the company with designing and installing a front walkway and praised its punctuality. A February 2018 Houzz review describes a much larger landscape project: a curved, 100-foot concrete-block retaining wall to level a sloping rear yard, new trees and planting beds, a double-border paver walkway, and soil and hydroseeding work. The homeowner said the company explained the lawn disruption before starting, discussed designs with them and worked steadily over several months. They reported that the finished result matched what they had envisioned. A May 2017 Houzz customer reported a failed retaining-wall repair. They said they paid $3,624 to have a bulging segment dismantled and rebuilt, but it gave way less than a year later after the first thaw. The customer alleged that Chris Duncan had lacked the required license for that repair and had not pulled the appropriate permit. They described a partial refund of less than one-third of the cost and an unresolved repair problem. These are the customer’s allegations about that job. Google lists a 4.5-star average from 19 ratings; Houzz lists 3.0 stars from two ratings. BBB identifies Chris Duncan as an owner contact and lists the business as not accredited, with no issued rating because of insufficient information.
