A defective water meter leaked into a finished basement, and a recent customer said Tom and his team from Clean Rite Cleaning & Restoration cleaned and dried out the space, moved the heavy furniture back and got it all done on time. A recent customer recommended Dylan and his partner and said the rug came out very clean. The company says it has been in business 28 years, and its website lists a 24/7 emergency line. A local paper, independentri.com, has described a Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting celebrating its relocation and expansion in South Kingstown. A 2023 customer said Clean Rite also does dryer vent cleaning. A 2025 customer said Michael R took the time to explain different options and steered them away from spending money on some items. In a 2016 review, a customer said Steve and Larry cleaned, re-colored and sealed grout on bathroom and kitchen floor tiles that another company had damaged. A 2013 customer said that after a hot water pipe broke on a Saturday morning and filled the basement with about 2 inches of steaming water, Greg from Clean Rite was there within an hour; that customer said they pumped the water, steam cleaned, treated for mold and took the damaged things to the dump. A 2021 customer hired Clean Rite for a post-construction cleaning and said the owner did the walkthrough for scope and pricing, but that plaster was left on windows and smeared on walls, cabinets were not wiped out, shelves were not installed, and the hardwood floors had to be cleaned again. A 2017 customer said the cleaning didn't come out good and that they had to call about five times to get a visit before a party. A recent reviewer said two men in one of its trucks rode their bumper for miles on 95 north bound, and that a woman in the office hung up when they called.

Service was excellent. I would recommend Dylan and his partner. A very quick rug is very clean would recommend them and we will be back very satisfied

You really need to do a background check on the guys they send into your home. They allow their drivers to drive recklessly while threatening the general public, all because I was stuck in the high speed lane behind some slow drivers, so they got road rage and rode my bumper for miles and miles, wouldn't allow me to switch lanes or pass, aggressively dodging in and out of traffic, making threatening gestures and trying to get me to pull over. The lady in the office had no concerns at all, she was upset with me for cussing. Insead of understanding my frustrations and taking down the information, she decided to hang up. All about the money, no regard for the publics safety. I Highly recommend finding a better company to do business with. They probably wont care until it's too late and someone ends up hurt. The pictures below are after they flew past me and sped thru the construction zone. I took pics of the plate when I finally got far enough away, to report to their boss, but nobody was interested. So I think its important the public knows how the situation was handled. Aggressive reckless driving, threatening people for no reason, other than some traffic congestion. 2 guys in the truck telling me to pull over, then when I take the exit they follow me, then at the last minute yank the wheel back into traffic on 95 north bound.
Tom and the Clean Rite Team worked quickly and efficiently to mitigate the damage caused by a defective leaking water meter in our finished basement. Tom and his team were a lifesaver! They worked so quickly and efficiently to get the space cleaned and dried out. They moved our heavy furniture back and got it all done on time—knowing we had company coming for a week. They were great!
Amazing job! Michael R was the service professional and he went above and beyond. He is an exceptional person who took the time to explain different options I had and also steered me to save money on some items he didn’t think I should waste my money on. Fantastic company!
