Climatech Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning Services

Climatech Mechanical works out of 150 Dudley Ave in Wallingford, and its Google page carries a 4.9 from 276 ratings. The company says it has been in business 32 years, and its site lists a service area that runs from New Haven and Hamden to Meriden, Middletown and Glastonbury. The written reviews are largely about the technician who came out. In a July 2026 Google review, a customer wrote that Joey arrived the next morning on the hottest weekend of the summer, when other companies needed a week, traced the A/C cooling problem and fixed it. An April 2026 reviewer said Joey O diagnosed an issue caused by another HVAC company and had everything fixed within an hour. In a June 2026 review, Brian explained the issue and took care of the necessary repairs. And in a 2022 review, a new customer whose boiler died on the coldest night of the year said a salesman was there within 30 minutes, gave a price first thing in the morning, and technicians arrived with a new boiler three hours later and worked into the night. The complaints are about charges. In a June 2026 Google review, a customer writing as a small business said they were billed for an estimate of a whole new system rather than the motor repair they asked about, that the unit was never repaired and that calls went unreturned. A 3★ review from 2022 objected to a $178 charge for a part the customer found online for $20-$40. On Angi, a 2018 review described a $650 gas valve repair that left the furnace still not working during a cold spell, followed by a quote of another $400. Its Connecticut HVAC license is active with the state registry, held under Climatech Mechanical Services. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+.
