A recent Reddit commenter said they pre-bought through C.N. Brown in Brewer. A 2022 Google customer described prompt delivery that was easy to schedule. A 2023 customer of more than three years said the company delivered to their area on Thursdays, but when their tank read empty and they called at 8:03 AM, they were told the company couldn't squeeze them in; the customer said they moved to another dealer in Holden. A 2022 customer called the price they paid for #2 fuel oil gouging, saying most other companies charged less. A 2022 customer said three people told them they could pay on the 31st, only to find the office closed, and was upset about the interest charge that followed.

“I just pre-bought for $4.15 through C.N. Brown in Brewer.”
“Heating oil sucks. We converted to natural gas a while back so thankfully we don't have to deal with that BS anymore. It's gonna be expensive. CN Brown is a decent company.”
I just saw texts from a woman i know on Facebook of how she was treated by this company and its monopolizing illegal and disturbing. Shaming someone for searching for cheaper oil in this economy is INSANE. And then to stop providing service because she was looking for a cheaper option? Absolutely cruel and the texts were after hours and super unprofessional.
New store. Already the inconvenience of not getting a receipt see store is annoying. Fill your damn pump with paper. Car wash overpriced at 12.00. You already have turned off the water blast as you enter! Why? I won’t be back. Better at washville.
I have been a customer of CN Brown for over 3 years. I know they deliver to my area on Thursdays and have never had a problem with that. Today we checked our gauge and saw it was on dead empty. I called them at 8:03 AM and asked if they could fill our tank today. They put me on hold for a couple of minutes and came back and told me they couldn't squeeze us in. They will no longer have that problem with us. I found another dealer in Holden who was more than willing to take us on as a customer.
