Coastal Electric is a new company created by a guy who really knows what he is doing, both in electrical work and in running a business. His staff is knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, and personable. When we bought a standby generator, the installation of the transfer switch and all the wiring to it and the circuit box from the generator were done by an employee of the generator company who explained what was to be done, how it would be done, and in a considerate and respectful manner he answered our questions. The cleanup for the generator work was great. We asked him about additional non-generator electrical repair and replacement work that we needed done and were informed that this person was going to be working with a new company and they could do the work. The new company is Coastal Electric. We were so impressed with what had been done with the generator installation that we got a quote and hired them to install a new circuit breaker box and replace all the wiring from the box to the power line from the street with a new trunk line, weather proofing, etc. Since the power was to be out for up to six hours, they brought in a portable generator. The work was done with expertise and top quality materials and we are very pleased with the results, so much so that we hired them again to install a new outdoor lamp post with new wiring from the house. The bottom line is excellent work by highly qualified and experienced people, at a fair price. And they are really nice young guys. A 10 rating out of 10.
