Connecticut Land and Tree Services

After a Nor'easter, Edwin and his crew came out in the rain and pulled a tree off one customer's roof. That is the kind of call Connecticut Land and Tree Services takes, and its website pitches a start-to-finish job of getting land cleared, leveled and ready for a project, with a stated service area of Bloomfield, Windsor, Hartford, West Hartford, Manchester, Simsbury, Granby, Avon, Farmington and Glastonbury. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 79 ratings. A recent customer said Edwin and his team climbed a large tree and dropped oak chunks exactly where they planned, with no damage to the property. A 2025 customer said the business took down an old walnut tree in a small yard surrounded by the neighbor's fences without damaging a fence. A 2025 reviewer described an oak of about 135 feet cut down, the branches wood-chipped, and the stump ground with the area filled and flat. The work goes past trees. A 2026 customer said the team leveled torn-up lawn after a pool installation, re-graded, filled planter beds, seeded grass and added a concrete edge at the driveway entry. A 2026 customer said they cleared a driveway, sidewalk and front steps of snow and ice in 25 minutes. A 2024 customer described 35 to 40 trees removed, the stumps ground out, truckloads of fill brought in to level the yard, and 21 bushes planted. A recent 1-star customer said the trimming left long stubs of major limbs instead of proper cuts at the collar, and that when this was pointed out, the boss demanded more money to make two additional cuts because the bucket truck had already moved.
