That is the shape of this New Bedford company's day-to-day work: exterior jobs, often finished in a day or two, by installers customers remember by name. The volume behind that is substantial. Google carries 4.8 from 1,685 ratings, Best Pick Reports 4.8 from 789, Angi 4.9 from 113, and its BBB page is accredited with an A+. The BBB listing spans the full exterior menu — roofing and flat roofing, roof repair, siding and siding repair, windows, doors, gutters and insulation. A 2024 Roofing Contractor feature lists Jason Couto as a brand president of Couto Construction and a sales leader at Infinity Home Services. The company reaches past houses too: 2025 southcoasttoday coverage described it converting a vacant New Bedford nursing home into a 63-unit apartment building, and a 2024 WBSM article covered its annual roof giveaway, that year to a 92-year-old Marion veteran. The other half of the picture is follow-through. Among the one-star reviews from spring and summer 2026: a homeowner whose two-week job was still unfinished two months later, and who says asking for an independent inspector got them told to get a lawyer; another whose project coordinator left mid-job with nobody introduced as the replacement; a third describing a roofing-and-doors project that ran months and a siding scope the company then declined to honor. In an April 2026 review, someone helping an elderly parent described nearly three years of callbacks — improperly installed siding and trim, unsecured trash blowing around the site. One customer says they waited more than a month for a promised estimate and never got it. Reddit tells a similar story, and it should be read for what it is — anonymous accounts, not verified findings. For a contained exterior job — a roof, a gutter run, a set of replacement windows — the history here is deep and mostly consistent, and the crews get named for a reason. For a larger, multi-part or older-house project, settle three things in writing first: who your single point of contact is and what happens if they leave, the completion date and punch-list, and exactly which siding scope the contract covers.
