Crawford Design

Crawford Design is a Cape Cod garden design and maintenance business run by owner-operator Susan Crawford, and the company says it offers planting, pruning, seasonal containers and CAD garden-design work. On its website, Crawford describes herself as a Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional with 20 years in the field. A recent customer wrote that two beds were designed and installed quickly and cleanly. A recent customer said Susan asks clients about their likes, dislikes and color preferences. A 2025 customer said Susan provided a detailed CadCam design and layout for riverside plantings, specific by plant type and location. That 2025 customer said she took care of local Conservation Commission rules and obtained the necessary permits and approval, and that her team completed the planting in a half day in high heat and humidity. A 2025 customer said Susan's team planted hydrangeas, other plants and miscanthus maiden grass with edging and mulching, and that they were on time and the clean up was perfect. A 2025 customer said Susan suggested dividing and relocating irises and hostas to fill blank areas, and that filling a garden area with cobblestone kept the family's dogs from digging; that customer hired the team back for another project.
