Crossroads Contracting has been trading since December 1989, incorporated in 1993, and changed hands in December 2017 — a detail worth knowing, because most of its written praise predates that sale. It is a design-build remodeler at 15 Londonderry Road in Londonderry, New Hampshire, working southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley side of Massachusetts, and it puts its typical job at $50,000 and up. The firm handles a project end to end: kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions and home extensions, ADU in-law units, basement finishing, garages, decks and porches, plus the architectural and 3D design work in front of them. Its portfolio runs to 22 projects on Houzz and 14 on the BBB page, including tear-down-and-rebuild jobs and in-law ADUs. What customers describe is a team, named individually, rather than a single tradesman. In a January 2024 review a couple thanked the designer, two carpenters, a selections coordinator and the subcontractors by name for a kitchen they called the one they had dreamed of, and said they were starting a second project on the strength of it. In 2017 a homeowner described a 1980s family room fully remodeled with new flooring and crown molding, delivered on time and on budget; another that January detailed a bathroom redesign — garden tub removed, a 48-inch cultured marble shower replacing geometric tile, new tile floor, a pocket door for the toilet area — plus an interior slider turned into an archway. A December 2016 customer had an attached carport replaced and then hired them again for a porch. The credentials are unusually deep for a firm this size: BBB Accredited with an A+ grade since February 2005, EPA RRP certification NAT-F182039-2 running to January 2028, five Cornerstone Awards, Remodeling Magazine's BIG 50 in 2007, and Top 500/Top 550 placements through 2016. Houzz also lists a Massachusetts contractor registration, #160986, which is the directory's own statement rather than a verified fact — confirm it with the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation if the job is on the Massachusetts side. The honest caveat is timing. Only one of the reviews on file was written since 2017, and the awards cluster in 2006-2017 — before the December 2017 ownership change. If you are hiring for a $50,000-plus remodel, ask for references from jobs completed in the last couple of years rather than relying on the older record.

We want to thank Crossroads for the excellent work. We especially want to thank Crystal for guiding us through this process. Her excellent design assured that our objectives and wishes would be met and deliver to us the kitchen of our dreams. She listened carefully and patiently to all of our questions and provided timely answers to all of them. We would also like to thank Larry and Pete for their extremely professional work and attention to detail in converting the plan into reality. Keri was great to work with when it came to choosing plumbing fixtures, tile and paint colors. The entire team was very professional, amicable, knowledgeable and always arrived on the job site on time and on the day they were scheduled. We are now entering the second project with Crossroads since we were so pleased with the result of our kitchen. We would recomment Crossroads very highly to anyone looking for quality work done in a professional manner.

We had a great experience with Crossroads Contracting from design right through to completion. They fully remodeled a family room for us and also installed new flooring and crown molding and fully repainted all of our bedrooms. The family room remodel transformed a very dated 1980's vintage room into a modern and comfortable oasis for our family. The entire project was accomplished on time and on budget. Everyone at Crossroads as well as the subcontractors working for them were professional, responsive to our needs and a joy to work with. We would definitely use Crossroads again for our future remodeling needs.

Crossroads recently completed several projects for us. We had a major redesign of our bathroom, where they ripped out the garden tub, replaced the geometric tile shower with a 48" cultured marble shower, removed and replaced the tile flooring and put a pocket door in so the toilet area had some privacy. In our dining area, we had an unusual interior sliding glass door to a small sun room. We had them remove the slider and build an archway, now it's our dining room bar. From beginning to end, the project went smoothly and moved along fairly quickly. Josh was great in helping put my ideas into a design, Shaun made sure things worked on schedule and Barry's carpentry skills are top notch. We are extremely happy with the end result!

After a year of searching for the right people to replace our attached carport we were happy to find Crossroads Contracting. From the first meeting with the project manager (Nick), we could see that this was going to be a positive experience. Nick worked with us to design something that was both structurally superior and surprisingly affordable. In fact, we were so impressed with the workmanship that we hired them again a few months later to replace our porch. If you are looking for quality work at a competitive price, then look no further. Our thanks to Nick, Crystal, Johnny, Shaun, Barry & Jim for increasing both the comfort level and the value of our home. We know who we will be calling for any future projects!
