Bathrooms are where most of the work happens. This spring a homeowner with only one bathroom needed the job turned around fast and got it: in and out, and better than expected. Another had handmade Zellige tile set — the irregularity of it makes the work harder — and said it turned out well. A third had a bathroom floor tiled and a new vanity installed, and called Marcelo responsive, diligent and reasonably priced. The pattern holds further back, and it is unusually specific about craft. In a November 2025 review, a couple who had their master bathroom floor, shower ceiling and walls tiled described someone checking that everything landed plumb, level and centered. Two things to pin down before booking. The work is tile-led, but a few projects go much further — a 2024 customer had JM consult on design and materials, then demolish and rebuild a 1938 bathroom — so if yours is a full remodel, be explicit about who handles plumbing, the vanity and the finish work. And the written history, dense as it is, only begins in 2024. If the project is tile — a shower, a backsplash, a floor with awkward angles — this is a straightforward call, and quoting tends to be quick: a January 2026 customer had a price back within minutes of reaching out. Lock in scope and schedule early; it is a small crew, and the calendar is the part that fills.
