Ross was recommended to us through our buyer’s agent. I being a real estate professional in Massachusetts having seen many home inspections over the course of my employment understood a lot more than the typical buyer. However, as a buyer one needs to have complete confidence and trust in their home inspector to see and evaluate everything that is not apparent to the buyer. Ross did that impeccably well he moved slowly and meticulously through our 3700 sqft Property which we bought” as is”. So, we needed to know and understand any major issues going forward because so much earnest money was on the line. Ross found an active leak in the kitchen ceiling that he traced from the bathroom through a closet in the 2nd floor down to the ceiling below in the kitchen of the 1st floor. This kitchen had been recently painted so it looked fine to the naked eye. Ross had an infrared camera that showed the wet area of the ceiling and wall which going undetected could cause major issues. Even though this was an” as is “sale the issues discovered forced the seller to respond and hire professionals to cut out the wet area let the beams dry, then repair and repaint. Ross also went back with our Real Estate agent to make sure all repairs were done properly and the leak was fixed. Ross has lots of experience as a builder of homes with his family business so being able to understand building makes him an exceptional home inspector to then take the house apart and see what we cannot. All these skills set him apart but what I liked most of all about Ross was his sincerity, ability to explain issues to us and his kind and gentle nature which without question gives him a 5 out of 5 review
Ross was great! He was extremely helpful and thorough throughout the inspection. I really appreciated how informative he was and how he took the time to teach me what to look out for as a first-time homebuyer.
