Cut Above Landscapers, LLC is a New Bedford outfit built around a father-and-son crew, Jamaal and his son, doing the recurring lawn care homeowners call back for season after season — mowing, spring cleanup, pruning, bed prep, and mulch installation. Every review on file is five stars, and the same story repeats across them: fast, on-site quotes and reasonable pricing. Angi and HomeAdvisor both show a 5.0-star average from 10 ratings, and specific accounts describe getting a quote and landing on the schedule within two days, with pricing reviewers call in line with or better than competitors. Several reviewers describe hiring the crew repeatedly across a season rather than for a single job — one had them handle spring cleanup, bush pruning, and bed prep as an ongoing arrangement, another kept them on for regular mowing after a first visit. The company describes itself as family-owned, which lines up with what reviewers describe — a small, hands-on crew rather than a large operation. The written record runs 2022 to mid-2023 with nothing since, so it's worth confirming the crew is still keeping the same pace before booking a season of work. Otherwise this is a solid call for routine lawn care and seasonal cleanup in the greater New Bedford area, especially for homeowners who want the same small crew back visit after visit.
Cut Above Landscapers' owner, Jamaal, promptly quoted work we discussed on site. His pricing is inline with competitors but his work is OUTSTANDING. So far this season (early spring '23) Jamaal and his crew have done spring cleanup, woody bush pruning, border and flower bed preparations including weeding, edge cutting, fresh mulch layer, cut new mulch beds and removed spreading root systems from unwanted bushes. Next up lawn repair from last year's grub damage. Jamaal is an excellent communicator (rare in his trade) and made sure I was entirely satisfied with his work performed. His brother and son worked with him most days and all were courteous and polite. Jamaal has everyone cleanup carefully after each day's work with nothing left behind. Jamaal produces prompt bill statements of work done as requested. I highly recommend his services, especially as he hopes to expand his work in Westport MA. I feel lucky to have found him through Angi.
Great job!!
Outstanding and professional
Extremely professional, reasonable pricing and job well done. I will highly recommend them.
Jamaal and his son did a great job cutting my lawn for the first time last Friday. I am more than happy to have them as my landscapers and continue to hire them out for more work. I strongly recommend Cut Above Landscapers to everyone in the greater New Bedford area. They are fantastic and you will not be disappointed.
