The D.A.S team is unmatched in its attention to detail and client focus. We have worked with them on multiple projects and always have a positive experience. Our new house is everything we imagined and it was delivered in a timely fashion. Any time you build a house there are issues along the way, but Doug, Chris and Adrian are excellent problem solvers and very knowledgable about the most up to date technologies . Highly recommend this crew !!

We embarked on a major project with D.A.S. to build a new pool house, pool, and mudroom in 2023. From our first meeting, Chris and Doug’s professionalism/building knowledge quickly separated their team from other contractors we considered in the bidding process. While there are too many great things to say about our experience, I wanted to cite several areas of consideration which are important to undertaking any project and highlight their talent (not an exhaustive list). (1) Budgeting (e.g.) each month the team provided itemized project spreadsheet which outlined each spec line item, any change orders, project payments made, and percentage of payments to completion, etc. (among many other details). This level transparency/detail gave us a real-time perspective of the cost and where we may save for areas that were our top priority along with necessary liquidity required to continue build. (2) Knowledge of Building: (e.g.) team employs best-in-class subcontractors which provided excellent quality and timely project completion (e.g.) subs must deliver both service quality and time to market completion (say what you will do; and do it). (3) Close Coordination Across Trades: each piece of our giant renovation puzzle was carefully orchestrated, which accelerated its speed and allowed our project to come in ahead of schedule (e.g.) pool opened early April for the 2024 season. (4) Resolving Discrepancies Due to Site Conditions or Changes: (e.g.) early in our build, we became aware the surveyor made a mistake with elevations of main house to new structure (which was learned only after laying foundation of new structure). D.A.S. team quickly responded with solution which mitigated change cost and enabled better elevation design between pool/patio (thoughtful and creative response to something which could have been much larger financial issue).

We have done many projects with Doug & Chris at DAS Builders and these guys are great. They are best of the best and I would recommend them to anyone needing the services of a top notch builder.
