A January 2022 Angi reviewer said a flooring job by David's Pro Flooring left them hiring someone else to finish the work. The worker had removed wall trim and, according to the customer, had promised to put it back before saying he could not. The customer also described a one-day completion promise becoming three days of work with two days off in between. They urged customers to get the full scope in a signed contract and supervise the work closely. David's Pro Flooring describes itself on Angi as a West Springfield flooring business with more than two years of industry experience. Its listed offerings include vinyl, linoleum and luxury vinyl installation, plus commercial carpet installation, wood-floor refinishing and wood-floor repair. Angi shows a 3-star rating from one customer.
Have a written contract signed by him and you beforehand, explaining in detail the work to be done in its entirety. Ask questions have him commit in writing...E.g. He took out trims off the wall to do my floor then said he could not put them back. But before he took them out, he did tell it was an easy job, he would put them back. I had to hire someone else to complete the work. I would also suggest close supervision throughout. He initially said he would finish the job in one day, he took three days to finish and took two days off in between. Avoid partial payments!
