BBB lists Kimberly Gravel as president and David Gravel as treasurer, and carries the company at A+ with accreditation going back to March 2005 — a long, quiet institutional history. The company's own site describes a family-owned business celebrating 20 years serving Southeastern Massachusetts, with over 35 years of experience in landscape construction, hardscaping and excavation. The work is construction, not trimming: plant and lawn installations, patios and walkways, retaining walls and yard expansions, plus the excavation, grading and drainage underneath them. Its listings put a typical job between $1,500 and $50,000, and name Attleboro, Bridgewater, Canton, Carver and Dighton among the towns it covers. The customer trail is where it thins. Google shows 5★ from two ratings, and the only written account dates to April 2024, when a homeowner said they had several walkways designed and installed, got exactly what they wanted, and called David and his team "great to work with." Its Houzz profile shows three projects and no reviews at all. Two things are worth raising before you call. The Houzz profile's own Awards field claims "MA SDO Certified WBE and DBE" alongside ICPI and NCMA hardscape certifications and an excavator licence — but a US Department of Transportation page lists "Decorative Landscapes, Inc. Decertification 07/29/2014 MA." If a WBE or DBE certification matters to your project, ask for the current certificate in writing rather than taking the listing at face value. And with one review on file, ask for references from recent hardscape or excavation jobs.
