BuildZoom lists 26 permitted projects — 11 in 2023, 10 in 2024 and one in 2025 — and they read as a coherent specialty rather than general handywork: five double EV charging stations in Lanesborough at $60,000, a $58,000 temporary service and 200-amp rough-in in Monterey, $30,000 of whole-home rewiring in Stockbridge, two EV stations in Sheffield at $27,000, a one-for-one retrofit of 320 fluorescent fixtures to LED in Chicopee at $25,000, ChargePoint chargers with three-phase subpanels in Springfield, a solar-array hookup in Pittsfield, and repeated lighting retrofits in Adams and Great Barrington. The typical permit is much smaller, around $3,000. No customer reviews exist anywhere the directory can reach — not on Google, not on BuildZoom — so there is no rating here, and that is the honest position rather than a low one. Anyone hiring should ask for references on work comparable to their own job. One thing is worth checking directly. BuildZoom's licence block reads "License Not Required" and notes that BuildZoom verified in September 2023 that this contractor does not need a Massachusetts licence — which sits oddly beside a permit history made up almost entirely of electrical work.
