DOBY ROOF ROOF

I hired Doby Roof 2 months ago to replace my roof which was 20+years old, as well as 7 windows and cedar wood siding which were 40 years old respectively. A stipulation of the project was that the work had to be done before Labor Day. They started by ripping all the wood off the house since we live by the water. They replaced it with PVC board. They then replaced the roof with GAF shingles and then stripped the siding and wrapped the house with TyVek 1 week before the windows were due to be delivered. We chose high impact new construction windows which they had installed within 2 days. They also rebuilt the inside window casings and reused the original moldings which, after stain matching, looks exactly like the rest of the interior house trim and molding. They then framed the corners of the house and the windows with Azek. They then installed insulating panels, followed by the installation of Tando Sandcastle Beach House siding. They finished up by reinstalling things removed from the house and even installed a bunch of new lights that I had bought. They then spent several hours cleaning up any left over debris and nails from the project. The place looks amazing and my wife and I couldn't be happier! They finished the job on Friday 8/14 which was about 2 months time. I'd say closer to 6 weeks of total work time with bad weather days and waiting for the windows to come in. This is the hardest working most dedicated crew I've even worked with. They routinely worked weekends to make the deadline including the July 4th weekend. The crew fluctuated between 2-5 people depending upon the phase of the project. Jose is the project supervisor and co-owner along with Rosa who is also a co-owner and very productive member of the crew. There is also Carlos and Lidia who were onsite everyday and are just really talented and hardworking builders. Anthony joined the project in the latter stages but was great at facilitating and filling in where needed. And, they are the nicest group of people you'll ever meet. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy which is saying a lot because I can be very demanding and a pain in the ass at times. They aways responded with politeness, patience, understanding, and results. I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted to keep them to myself! I felt that once the secret was out I'd have a hard time scheduling them for other projects that I have. That's a little selfish though. Doby Roof is a great construction company composed of talented, hardworking, and dedicated people. You can't keep that from people that want good work done, by good people, at a reasonable price!

the set an appt and we're no shows, tey also would not use the app and kept calling. they would not give any estimate, after they responded in the app they can not do the job they called to say hey already bought materials. I think this is best ase a very unprofessional company and at worse case a scam. I hope the calls stop.

I am extremely selective when it comes to hiring contractors, yet it pleases me greatly to provide this positive review of DOBY Roof Roof Construction LLC. I hired them in 2024 for 2 separate jobs: the completion of a roof installment which a different contractor botched and a chimney repair and capping. The team was always punctual, did good quality work, communicated (and this is so lacking in many contractors nowadays), charged fairly, and cleaned up nicely after each job. I personally can't wait for the next time I get to hire this team because I know my house is in good hands. Until next time, thanks team!
