- A same-day furnace check — a 2025 customer had a new furnace by the next day
Don Marquis Fuel delivers fuel oil and kerosene, and its own website names Old Town, Orono, Bangor, Hudson and Greenbush among the communities it serves, with a will-call option for ordering. The company says it has been in business for 30 years. A 2025 customer said Don helped them get kerosene the same day after another company let them down, so the family would not go without heat in -7 weather. A 2025 customer wrote that "he came out the same day to check our furnace" after they noticed leaks and smells. That customer said the furnace had to be replaced and that they were up and going again by the next day with a new furnace.

Fair prices. He came out the same day to check our furnace when we had been noticing some leaks and smells. Unfortunately our furnace had to be replaced, but he was able to get us up and going again by the next day with a new furnace. Trustworthy and reliable.

Don is great! Very personable and made me feel like a customer. When another company let me down due to a calendar glitch on their end, Don was able to help me get kerosine same day so that my family would not go without heat in -7 weather. Thank you again!!!
