Donovan Farms describes itself as a family-owned hydroseeding, landscaping and erosion control business in central Massachusetts, with twenty-three years in the field, working Monday through Saturday. Its website lists a service area that includes Worcester, Holden, Princeton, Sterling, Paxton, Leominster, Rutland, Shrewsbury, Westborough and Fitchburg, and states that it is insured. A recent customer hired Bill to spread loam and hydro seed a yard torn up by a construction project, and writes that he brought in an extra load of loam to ensure proper ground cover and that growth showed after a week. Another called for a same-day appointment on a seeding job of over 15,000 sq ft; the company came by within 15-30 minutes for a walk through, started the job 45 minutes later, and explained what to do afterward to maintain the lawn. In a 2025 review, a customer wrote that hydroseeding took a yard from dirt to a thick, green lawn in a few weeks. In a 2023 review, a customer wrote that the company removed the asphalt over a large sink hole in a driveway, dug it down and compacted while filling the hole, then resurfaced it.
