DOOLAN FENCE

Doolan Fence is Chris Doolan's fencing business. Its website says Chris has been installing fence systems since 2004; it also says he has a degree in forestry and was a sustainable logger for 15 years. The site lists a service area that includes Barnet, Peacham, Bradford, Fairlee, Thetford, Norwich and Woodstock. A 2025 customer said Doolan's replaced an old dilapidated fence with a more permanent one to keep deer out of the garden. A 2023 customer said Chris built a 46-foot, 6-foot cedar shadow-box privacy fence, which he designed and constructed on site. A 2023 customer said Chris did a large and complex orchard fence. A 2023 customer whose lot is not level said Chris built a dog enclosure and consulted them where there were options on how things could be done. A 2022 customer said Chris installed a wooden fence and gate to create an outdoor pen along one side of a barn, despite very rocky soil. A 2022 customer said Chris managed the steep slope of their dog pen and finished in the time frame he gave, and that fencing he did for them four years before still looked recently installed. A 2022 customer said the estimate was true to the final cost. A 2022 customer said Chris started their project several weeks later than promised and took much longer than contractors they later used. That 2022 customer said both the electric rope fence and the wood fence needed multiple repairs, and that when a horse got hurt on the fence, Chris did nothing to rectify it.
