DoverStone Corp works in stone: walls, patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, stone veneer and pool aprons, alongside full landscaping, irrigation and winter snow removal. The Dover company says it has served Eastern Massachusetts since 2003, and its service area runs from Brookline and Chestnut Hill out through Needham, Westwood and Weston to Boston, Lexington and Wellesley. One thing to settle before you call: the BBB page for DoverStone of Dover says BBB believes the business is no longer operating, while the company's own site still publishes that service area. For a stone wall, a patio or a driveway in the western Boston suburbs, start by asking whether they are taking on new work this season, then for photos of walls and patios they have built nearby.
