Dump Guy

The Dump Guy hauls away old junk from basements, garages and attics. Its website says it gives a rough estimate over the phone and sets a definitive price once it arrives, and on Thumbtack the company describes itself as established in 2004 and working across Southern and Central Maine. Google shows 5 stars from 2,821 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. A recent Google customer said Louis and Darius took their junk away at a fair price and checked in with a text just before arriving. A landlord in the Waterville area wrote on Google that this was the second time using them. A recent Thumbtack customer emailed photographs of the items first, found more to get rid of in the garage when the representative arrived, and called the price he gave quite reasonable. One recent customer said a team of 2 men came within 4 days of being contacted, and a different recent customer said a massive couch was taken out quickly. A 2020 customer needed a basement cleaned out so a leaking oil tank could be removed; that customer said the job was bigger than expected, the crew stayed at it, and Jason stuck to the $1,500 estimate. A 2022 customer wrote that the company had done trash removal, bulky furniture, a house clean out and an in ground pool dismantle for them. A 2018 customer said they cleaned up sheet rock pieces, swept the basement floor and raked up leaves behind the garage without being asked. A 2017 customer said it took a bit to schedule.
