Dustbusters Complete Cleaning Service

Dustbusters Complete Cleaning Service is a Woburn, family-owned cleaning company serving the Reading area — the website says it's been in business "over 25 years" in one place and "over 36 years" in its FAQ, so take the exact figure loosely, but either way it's a long-running local operation. Reviews describe a business that works both sides of cleaning: home visits and recurring commercial contracts at gyms, offices and schools. On the commercial side, some relationships run years deep — one gym client described 3+ years of service they called exceptional, another said they'd used the company for both residential and commercial cleaning for years. Specialty work draws specific praise too: in a 2025 review, a customer described the crew stripping and waxing a school's floors around high-traffic areas and crib-wheel scuff marks without leaving a trace, and in an early-2025 review, another described the crew sanding an entire ice-covered roadway. The written record also holds three specific complaints worth knowing about. In a 2022 review, a customer said cleaners spent five hours on a requested deep clean of a newly purchased home and left little evidence that any cleaning had been done, despite reconfirming the scope beforehand. Also in 2022, another customer described cleaners scratching and gouging hardwood floors — the company first offered to fix it, then tried coloring over the damage with markers, then sent someone who wasn't a licensed contractor to argue a vacuum couldn't have caused it, before ultimately refusing responsibility. Separately, in a 2024 review, a customer raised a workplace-conduct concern: female cleaning staff continuing to clean an occupied men's restroom rather than stepping out. For routine home or recurring commercial cleaning, the volume of long-term relationships in the reviews is real — but given the floor-damage account, it's worth asking directly how the company handles accidental damage before booking, especially for a job involving hardwood or other finished surfaces.
