DW Electrical Contractors is a Conway electrician whose website says it has been in business 20 years and lists free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. A 2025 customer said a crew responded within a couple hours to an emergency issue on a Friday and quickly took care of it. That same 2025 customer said a second visit added ceiling lights and fans, and the team kept them informed of arrival times and completed the job in a timely manner. A 2024 customer said a 6-foot cord was the largest sold by Lowes, Home Depot and electrical supplies for a stacked washer and dryer, and DW crafted a 9-foot cord. A 2022 reviewer from out of state said they drove two hours to meet the company for a quote, then called a few times and never heard back.
We have used DW Electrical twice in the last few weeks. The first was an emergency issue on a Friday and a crew responded within a couple hours and quickly took care of the issue. The second time was to add ceiling lights/fans to our home. The team kept us informed of arrival times and was able to complete the job in a timely manner. Should we ever need more electrical work done, we will be calling DW Electrical again.
I had purchased a new washer / dryer but didn't account for the placement of cord when stacking the pair. The cord was going from top left corner to bottom right corner on the floor. 6' cord was the largest cord sold by Lowes, Home Depot and electrical supplies. Insert DW electric who crafted a 9' cord and all was good. Thank you and will prefer your services going forward.
I'm from out of state and I called them thinking they would come out and give me a quote without being there. They told me that I would have to be there, so I drove up 2 hours and took a Friday off to meet them there that morning. They did show up and that was the end of that. I called them a few times to inquire about a quote an They never called me back or emailed me. As a contractor, I would find the time to call the customer or just let them know that I can't do the job. This company is completely unprofessional. Don't waiste your time with this company. If I could give them just a half a star for just showing up I would.
