I just finished having extensive work done by Emerald. I am very happy with the experience and the work. Thomas was my contractor. I truly appreciate his commitment to providing quality work. He checked in repeatedly to make sure I was happy with the work done, and offered to amend anything I didn't like (which he did). His communication was excellent. We had morning in-person meetings and sometimes an additional in-person meeting later that same day. He provided guidance but wasn't pushy. His work crew was hard-working (often in brutal summer heat), polite and skilled. I liked that this company can provide a wide array of services, not just foundation work (which I had done, but I also had other things done). Highly recommended.

Emerald was hired to waterproof our brick chimney. After two visits to get it right they still failed. Patrick explained that Emerald fired the manager, Ryan, who supervised our job because he used cut rate products, mishandled this and other jobs. Patrick came out and promised they would get it right. This was over 2 months ago and they have yet to follow through. They are not returning calls, basically ghosting me. I?ve left many messages and texts, no response. I?ve asked for my money back but no response. Starting a complaint with the BBB and will sue to get a refund. Do not hire Emerald Construction.

Thomas and Angelo (his crewman) were fantastic. (He had more crew, but Angelo was the only one whose name I knew.) They correctly diagnosed the problem (foundation cracks), sealed everything, installed a new sump pump and redid the flooring. They kept me informed every step of the way and started work within a day or two of hiring. The basement has remained dry as a bone ever since. One thing to note: They do require payment quickly (not all upfront but soon) and do not take credit cards.

The job was completed with precision, care, and attention to detail, exceeding our expectations. What really stood out was their ability to work within our busy schedule.
