The company's own site lists property scans, tank removal and abandonment, soil and groundwater sampling and remediation, compliance testing, emergency spill response and vacuum truck services, and it says it has been in business 50 years. A 2024 customer said a three-person team pumped out residual oil, cut a basement tank in three parts, brought it out through the garage and cleaned up after the job. A 2025 customer with a 25-year-old contaminated tank bed said the company found the tank's location, quoted a fair price, scheduled quickly and came in below the quoted estimate. A 2023 customer said the crew maneuvered digging equipment so it would not have to drive across the lawn and sidewalk. We were completely at a loss when we learned we had an oil spill on our property, especially with so much unknown from an environmental and cost perspective. After “interviewing” five remediation companies, we feel so blessed that we chose Enviroshield to help us get through our ordeal. From start to finish, and everywhere in between, we appreciated how Enviroshield handled all phases, as well as answered all of our questions. We couldn't ask for better from their entire team - Rich, Dani and Liz, and Seth and his crew too. They all had plenty of patience, complete understanding of the process, and optimized all stages while minimizing costs to us and maximizing the remediation. We put our trust in them and they delivered. Thank you to the entire Enviroshield team! -Weston, CT
3 years ago Enviroshied handled a complex job for us brilliantly. I needed the invoices 3 years later. I called and Liz was so kind. She took time to look. She couldn’t find them so she called the CFO. 30 minutes later Liz called me back with exactly what I needed. Professional. Patient. Never acted “put out”. Such a great team of people.
I had them out for a job and they provided phenomenal service. The (removed) tank was in an odd location that required constant follow up with them but they were very patient and helpful (everyone i spoke with).
It's nice to work with people who understand the potential catastrophe every old oil tank that is buried in the ground presents. They shepherd you through the process while chilling everything out. I was lucky that my situation ended up being relatively benign and they were as happy as I was. Do not doubt that these guys are honest and want nothing more than to help you resolve your issue. Added on 6/5/26 Wanted to add that the tank needed to be removed prior to the house going on the market. So, on top of all the stresses involved with deciding to relocate after 21 years, there was this 1,000 gallon oil tank under our house that would, most likely, prevent us from selling until it was gone. I am in the trades, and I know how sluggish things can move. These guys never once acted as if my tank wasn't the most important thing on their agenda. They got one of their satellite vendors, Jay Soltis from Reef Engineering, involved from the jump and worked closely with him to thoroughly comply with all regulations while removing the tank in about 30 days from the time I first called them. I have 50 years of experience dealing with tradesmen and Enviroshield and Reef are 2 of the best I have even dealt with.
We were very pleased with the service we received from Enviroshield. Everyone we spoke to or dealt with was very professional and provided prompt service and answers to any questions. Wish other businesses were more like them. Would confidently recommend them.
