The company says it has been in business 42 years, and its website lists audio-video, camera, home theater and network work, with a stated service area that runs from Sturbridge and West Springfield out to Pittsfield, Lenox and Great Barrington. A recent customer said EPOS hung a Samsung Frame TV over the fireplace with no issue. A customer who needed legacy stereo components hooked up and sound balanced said they called on a Thursday and EPOS was there the following Monday. One customer wrote that a two-man crew installed ethernet ports and relocated the router within the day. On a landscape speaker system, one customer was convinced the amp had failed, but it turned out to be software related, was resolved with Sonos technical support, and the labor cost was called more than reasonable. A 2025 customer said EPOS rewired the entire third floor of a 100+ year-old home, adding receptacles and ceiling lighting, in one day. A 2025 customer said EPOS replaced their circuit breaker board and swapped three pull-chain basement lights for three shop lights. A 2025 customer described a clean EV charger install at a fair price. In a 2023 review, a customer said that when technicians hit a hidden structural problem installing ceiling lights, they had better-fitting lights delivered within an hour. One thing to check: its Massachusetts electrician license, number 2703-EL-A1, is expired on the state registry.
