Three Google ratings, one written comment, and a state licence that checks out — that is the whole paper trail on Evermore Light & Power, an electrical contractor working out of 1615 Shawsheen St in Tewksbury. The credential is the firm part. Massachusetts lists electrician licence 594 as active with the company itself as holder of record, so the registry backs the trade it sells. Its BBB profile, opened in February 2018, puts the start of the business at January 2015 and the headcount at three, and BBB has issued no rating at all, saying it does not have enough to go on. Further back, a January 2018 High-Profile Monthly article named the firm — then listed in Somerville — among the new signatory contractors to IBEW Local 96. What almost nobody has done is write about the work. Google shows 3.7 stars across three ratings, and the one comment attached to them, posted in March 2023, is not about a job: the reviewer said they watched a truck carrying the company name cut people off and nearly cause several accidents. Worth knowing, certainly — but it says nothing about how the crew wires a panel. So this is a business whose written history is one comment deep, and that comment is three years old. The licence is real and current; the reputation simply has not been written down anywhere public. If you are considering them, ask for two or three recent local references you can call, and get insurance and the scope in writing before anyone starts.
