Faskianos Excavation Services is a York outfit that moves between heavy site work and finished stone. A 2025 customer said they hired the company for a full septic installation, stump removal and land grading at a property in York, and that the stumps came out cleanly and the land was flattened properly. The company's website lists site work and earthwork, septic systems, utility trenching, drainage, road and driveway installation, foundation installation, and ledge hammering and rock removal. It names a service area running from Kennebunk, Wells and York down to Kittery, Portsmouth, Rye and Hampton, plus Portland. Stone work makes up much of the rest. A 2025 customer said Zach and Anthony Faskianos installed a new set of granite steps at the front entrance of the house. A 2025 customer described a large project with excavation, hardscape and landscape work, including a stone staircase and boulders placed around the property, and said it came in on time and on budget. A 2023 customer said the company removed a large section of Japanese knotweed from the front of the house, took out the subsoil, backfilled with stone and gravel and built a retaining wall along the property line. A 2022 customer wrote that Zac was about to complete the first phase of a likely two-to-three-phase redesign of a 1-acre, heavily wooded and overgrown property with drainage problems. A 2022 customer said they called very late in the year for a gravel driveway, and Zach got it installed before the ground completely froze.
I hired Faskianos Enterprises for a full septic installation, stump removal, and land grading at my property in York. The work involved heavy equipment and major site changes, and the results met every expectation. Zach was extremely professional. His communication stayed clear from planning through final grading. He took the time to explain options, adjusted plans as needed, and worked with me until the job looked right, not rushed. That level of follow through mattered. The crew showed up when scheduled, worked efficiently, and respected my property. The stumps were removed cleanly, the land was flattened properly, and the site was left in good shape when they finished. If you want excavation or septic work done the right way with strong communication and attention to detail, I recommend Faskianos Enterprises without hesitation.
Extremely professional and very reliable I wouldn’t hesitate to hire again!!!
Had a very tight timetable and Zach and crew got the job done. Very happy with the result. Would highly recommend.
Zach and Anthony Faskianos just finished installing a beautiful new set of granite steps to the front entrance of our house. They were responsive, reliable, skilled, and hard-working. On top of that, they are good people and very easy to work with. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. We will always recommend Faskianos Enterprises whole-heartedly and without reservation.
Absolutely Beautiful! Zach’s vision and assistance in selecting the proper stone for our walls, steps and patio were extremely helpful. He and his team are consistently focused from beginning to end with a terrific work ethic. Zach has all the necessary machinery and tools to do a great job. His connections from electrician, mason and others serve him well. We couldn’t be happier with our results.
