FC Home Improvement, LLC

FC Home Improvement is a Taunton roofing and exterior specialist run by Felix Castro, who started the company in 2021 and has built it into a GAF-certified, CertainTeed ShingleMaster and VELUX-certified installer working roofs, siding, gutters, chimneys and skylights across southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. The written record is short but consistent: three Thumbtack reviews from 2024 and 2025, all five stars. One customer had a full roof replacement quoted fairly and finished in a single day; another described a chimney inspection where Felix found loose stones and a missing liner before quoting the repair. A third customer had an old garage's roof and siding matched to the main house so well that 'people thought we had built a new one' — and liked the work enough to hire him back for a cupola and custom windows. The paperwork backs up the reviews. The state registry currently verifies an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor license under the company's name, and a real permit on file — a $12,000 strip-and-reroof job in Taunton — shows actual work behind the listing. The Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ rating, though it isn't a BBB-accredited business. There isn't much of a track record yet — three reviews and one documented permit is a small sample for a five-year-old company — so it's worth asking for a couple of recent references directly, especially for a larger job. For a homeowner in the Taunton area needing a roof, siding or chimney repair, the evidence on hand points to careful, fairly priced work; just build out your own references given how new the written record still is.
