I purchased a brand new double wide in July. At the final walkthrough there was a list of things that needed to be fixed and then additional items within thirty days. Fecteau's has not resolved the majority of these problems including a part for my brand new furnace.
Fecteau built us a home that is perfect for us. Made modifications to the model that would fit our site plan better and our lifestyle. Even when we had to stall delivery, they were willing to store it at their facility so that we wouldn't have a house sitting empty all winter. Ashley E. Was the best to work with, she made it worth the whole stressful process that comes with building a new home.
My experience with Fecteau Homes was extremely disappointing. What was presented as a family-focused and caring environment turned out to be the complete opposite. Throughout my time working with them, I encountered repeated unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and behavior that felt more focused on money than on treating customers with basic respect. Home buying/building is already a stressful process, and customers should be able to rely on the company they choose to help ease that stress, not add to it. Unfortunately, this company only made the experience more difficult and frustrating. I think what stood out most was the lack of kindness and professionalism behind the scenes. Hearing staff swear about and speak negatively about customers was shocking and completely inappropriate. It created an environment that felt hostile rather than supportive. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for honesty, professionalism, or genuine care. Contrary to the image they present publicly, my experience showed a company that primarily looks out for itself rather than the people it's supposed to serve. I would strongly encourage anyone considering building or buying a home to choose a company that understands how stressful the process already is and actually works to support their customers through it.
We had a great experience building our modular home with Fecteau Homes! Communication was excellent and they really felt like a partner throughout the whole customization process. Everyone on the team was attentive and took the time to understand what we wanted as first-time homeowners, helping us stay within budget while still making choices that fit our needs. We especially want to thank Ashley, Jason, and Luke—and their teams—for going above and beyond to make it all happen. Overall, it felt like a 5-star experience. We always felt supported and our home turned out to be everything we wanted and more.
Great people to work with. Great customer service.
