In a November 2024 Angi review, a customer says Filippo's Painting did not rush the job and handled the details: proper prep, caulking and minor siding repairs where possible. Filippo's describes itself on HomeAdvisor as a family-owned painting business with over 20 years of experience, offering specialty finishes and listed as a Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting certified specialist. A May 2026 reviewer says the company gave a fair quote in a competitive bid, agreed the scope, price and timeline clearly, and arrived exactly as promised. An October 2020 reviewer says the crew started earlier than quoted. In an October 2010 review, a customer had garage doors, house doors and trim painted and says Filippo walked the job afterward with a scraper to remove stray paint, though the crew left a side gate open against instructions and a dog got out. A June 2010 reviewer had a deck refinished that looks like new, and an April 2013 reviewer had ceilings painted with the furniture covered and put back. In an August 2016 review, a customer says Filippo did not arrive at the agreed start time, gave them the run around when called, and that they used a different contractor. Connecticut lists its home improvement registration HIC.0620196, held by Filippo's Painting LLC, as active. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+ and lists it as accredited. HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.6 stars from 20 ratings.
Excellent experience from start to finish. They showed up promptly, provided a fair quote in a competitive bidding process, and clearly agreed to the scope, price, and timeline. They then arrived exactly as promised and delivered outstanding, professional work. Highly recommended.
Excellent work. Did not rush the job and addressed a lot of the details such as proper prep, caulking and minor repairs of siding where possible. Treated property with respect and cared to provide a quality outcome. Could not be happier with the product and the value.
Great experience with Filippoâ s team. On time every day, clean, quality work and very reasonably priced. Will hire them again!
Was able start earlier than quoted and the crew was great. They were very detailed oriented and took pride in their work.
Great fast work. Good price.
