Flying Plumbers is a plumbing and heating company based at 38 Creek Road in Provincetown, serving the Outer and Lower Cape. The company describes itself as handling routine repairs and installations, radiant heat and cast-iron heating unit service, seasonal winterizing and spring turn-ons, and 24-hour emergency calls. It self-reports 45 years serving the area, while BBB records list the business as started in 1975 and incorporated in 1996 under President Ron Singer — a somewhat longer tenure than the company's own claim. Recent Google reviews are consistently positive about how quickly the crew responds to urgent problems: a 2026 review said the team was very responsive to a hot water heater issue, and a 2025 review described a same-visit job where a corroded pipe was replaced and a leaky shower valve fixed along the way, calling Flying Plumbers a nice local team. BBB lists the business with an A+ rating (it is not BBB-accredited) and no complaints on file, and BuildZoom's permit history shows 14 plumbing and gas-fitting permits pulled in Provincetown. Older reviews raise a different concern: two homeowners, one in 2023 after a job that cost over $1,000, describe reaching out multiple times by phone, voicemail and email with no response, with one calling the business unreliable about returning calls. It's worth asking directly, before booking, how the office currently handles follow-up communication after a job is done, since those accounts predate the recent run of responsive reviews. For Cape homeowners who need a local plumber for repairs, water heater work, or heating systems including radiant heat and cast iron units, Flying Plumbers has a long-standing local presence and a recent track record of fast response to urgent calls. Given the mixed history around post-job follow-up, it's reasonable to confirm expectations on communication and any punch-list items before the crew leaves.
They were very responsive to a recent issue with my hot water heater.
Responded to my request to replace a corroded pipe quickly and even fixed my leaky shower valve while they were here. Nice local team that I'm happy to support.
I can't believe anyone can run a business this way. Only takes emails but NEVER responds. Leave a voicemail and get no response. Why not just tell people you're closed?
I highly recommend Flying Plumbers. They were on time, professional, friendly and great to work with.
Unreliable, and they do not return phone calls. They did a job for me and I spent over $1,000, but there are issues and I’ve reached out to them 3 times via phone and email, with no reply. They certainly took my money fast enough. This is no way to run a business……
