I've had the good fortune to work with Dana Southworth and Garland Mill Timberframes several times over the last 6 years, and each experience has been outstanding. I’ve purchased large timbers, custom cedar siding (tongue-and-grove & clapboard), and deck/roof boards from Garland Mill, and their precision and accuracy was consistently top-notch. Dana helped me design a large barn for my equipment and a small shed for firewood, and he was always professional, prompt, and a pleasure to work with. Garland Mill has hosted events with the Timber Framers Guild, which were educational and fun; I hope they host another one soon. I HIGHLY recommend Garland Mill Timberframes, and hope to work with them again on my next timber frame project!
9 Years ago, Dana and his crew built a custom timber frame covering for a portion of our outdoor patio. Meticulous attention to detail, and communication from start to finish. An amazing example of craftmanship from the entire team. It still looks new to this day.
Wonderful company to work with. Design/construction team is second to none. If you want a post and beam structure that will last long after the 'reading of the will', these are the people to hire. Very satisfied.
