General Roofing Inc is based at 587 Warren Ave in East Providence, Rhode Island. Its Google profile shows 3.2 stars from 17 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau lists an A- grade. The two written reviews both describe buying a kitchen, and they point in opposite directions. In a February 2022 review, a family on a tight budget said they found cabinets that could stand up to three rambunctious boys; the reviewer called the staff clear and concise, liked being involved in the process, and described the cabinets as beautiful and within budget. In a July 2024 review, a customer who bought a kitchen a year earlier called it the worst experience of their life: they described the staff as rude and unprofessional, said calls went unanswered and someone hung up on their contractor, said the company asked for full payment upfront, and said its claim of lower prices was not true. The same customer said the products were not great and the design person did not know about newer kitchen features.
I usually do not give reviews but I felt I have to warn others about this company. I bought a kitchen from them a year ago and it was the worse experience in my life. People are rude, impolite and unprofessional. They do not answer calls and even hung up on my contractor. They ask to pay everything upfront and claim to be less expensive than others but it is not true. They used outdated computers and extremely old fashion process. I should have gone elsewhere but when the process is ongoing it is very difficult to stop it. Their products are not great and their design person does not anything about newer kitchen features.Simply don't consider those people.
In all reality,no one person will have the same experience. But I personally had a great experience, we were on a tight budget and needed something that could withstand 3 rambunctious boys, and we found it. The staff there were very clear and concise. I love that I was involved in the process. The cabinets are beautiful, chic and fit right into our budget. I would definitely recommend going to General kitchen; they have great varieties.
