GL Masonry LLC

I can’t speak more highly of Zim and his crew. His professionalism, attention to detail, and his quality level of craftsmanship is above reproach. His crew was conscientious, polite and a pleasure to interact with. I would highly recommend him for all of your masonry needs.

Huge thank you to Zimi and his crew for my new gorgeous sidewalk and patio! They’ve created an upscale look to my home with the beautiful masonry work they have done. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with, and so knowledgeable…True craftsmen!

I was referred to Zim and GL Masonry LLC by Miceli Tint, a local high-end automotive window film company whose standards I trust. They told me, “Zim is the guy.” They were absolutely right. We hired GL Masonry for a large project around our new smokehouse at Hoodoo Brown BBQ, including fencing, concrete steps, masonry work, and anchoring our patio cover roof. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the things that separate good companies from great ones: clear communication, showing up when promised, solving problems quickly, and taking real pride in the finished product. Zim and his crew delivered on all of it. The craftsmanship was outstanding. Everything is clean, solid, precise, and looks like it was designed specifically for the space. We had a very specific vision, and they not only executed it exactly as requested, but found ways to make it even better. That is rare. The entire project was handled professionally from start to finish, and the final result exceeded our expectations. GL Masonry LLC is the real deal. Great communication, prompt service, serious craftsmanship, and zero nonsense. Miceli Tint told me Zim was the guy. They were right. Zim is a legend.

There are contractors who complete a job, and then there are craftsmen who leave a mark on a place. Zim and his crew at GL Masonry LLC fall firmly into the second category. We recently completed a major project around the new smokehouse at Hoodoo Brown BBQ, involving fencing, masonry, concrete steps, and the anchoring and installation work necessary for our patio cover roof. None of it was especially simple. This was a working restaurant, with very specific operational needs, tight spaces, heavy equipment, and a vision in our heads that we needed someone else to understand and execute. From the beginning, GL Masonry LLC made the entire process remarkably easy. Communication was clear, direct, and consistent. Calls and questions were answered. Expectations were set correctly. The crew showed up when they said they would. Problems were met with solutions instead of excuses. In the construction world, that alone is worth its weight in gold. But what impressed us most was the craftsmanship. The fencing doesn’t simply feel installed — it feels like it belongs there. The masonry and concrete work has a permanence and precision to it that is hard to describe until you stand next to it. The steps are beautifully built, the lines are clean, everything feels incredibly solid, and the work surrounding the patio structure was executed with the kind of care you hope for when you are trusting someone with an important part of your property. There is an artistry to great construction that sometimes gets overlooked. When something is done properly, you almost stop noticing the individual pieces. Everything simply feels right. The fence follows the space naturally. The concrete feels intentional. The structures feel anchored and permanent. Form and function disappear into one another. That is exactly what Zim and GL Masonry LLC delivered. We came into the project with a very specific idea of what we wanted. Not only were they able to build what we asked for, they repeatedly found ways to improve upon it. Details were considered that we hadn’t thought about. Solutions were offered that made the finished product stronger, cleaner, and better looking. Rather than simply checking boxes on a scope of work, they clearly took ownership of the project and cared about how the final result would look and perform for years to come. For a business like ours, that means everything. Our smokehouse isn’t just another construction project. It is part of how we cook, how we operate, and how Hoodoo Brown BBQ continues to grow. Seeing the space finally come together with this level of craftsmanship has been incredibly rewarding. Prompt service. Exceptional communication. Beautiful craftsmanship. Attention to detail. And most importantly, a genuine desire to make the finished product better than we originally imagined. You can hire someone to build a fence. You can hire someone to pour concrete. You can hire someone to finish a job. Or you can hire someone who takes pride in what they leave behind. GL Masonry LLC does exactly that. And Zim is a legend. We could not recommend GL Masonry LLC, Zim, and his crew more highly.

GL Masonry did an outstanding job on our siding repair. What started as a small project turned into a larger one, but with this crew, we knew we were in good hands. They were always professional, hardworking, and paid great attention to detail. They arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout the project, and completed the work efficiently. The repaired siding looks excellent and blends perfectly with the rest of the house. They also cleaned up thoroughly when the job was finished. I highly recommend GL Masonry LLC to anyone looking for quality workmanship and reliable service. Thank you, Zim, Luis, Jonathan, and Raul, for a job well done!
