Two Google reviews from August 2026 are the newest word on Global Paving & Sealcoating, and both are one-star. One customer wrote that the materials washed away after the first rain and that customer service was rude; the other said a driveway job was rushed and uneven, cracks appeared within weeks, the sealcoating started peeling and follow-up calls went unanswered. The Danbury company's written history on Angi runs the other way and is older. In a 2023 review, a customer described the company repaving a private road of roughly two-thirds of a mile, with multiple families living on it, and credited Saq as the only bidder who identified the drainage issues breaking the road. Another 2023 review covered major drainage work with stonework and asphalt paving, with the crew arriving on time and cleaning up afterward. A 2021 review described a long driveway on a steep slope where Saq recommended retaining walls, Belgian block and resealing, and the work finished ahead of schedule. Others from 2020 to 2022 describe crack filling, patching and sealcoating driveways, some of it done by hand, and a 2025 Angi review mentions driveway repaving plus wall, patio and walkway stone work. There is an older complaint as well. In a 2020 Angi review, a customer said the company quoted a parking area as needing no permits, took a $2,200 deposit, and after the town's building and zoning office said the work was not allowed, held the deposit for over a month and a half before returning it minus $400 for a quote that was supposed to be free. The company's site says it has been in business 50 years and lists free estimates, 24/7 emergency service and insurance. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0647728, is active.

Hired Global Paving & Sealcoating LLC for my driveway and the work was rushed and uneven. Cracks appeared within weeks and the sealcoating started peeling. They ignored my follow-up calls. Very poor quality.
Global Paving and Sealcoating has done driveway repaving and patching, and several wall, patio, and walkway stone work projects for me. Their work is top-notch, and very reasonably priced, especially for the quality - and speed! - at which they do the work. Saq is knowledgeable and communicative throughout the process, and is a joy to work with. Highly recommended!
We had major drainage work done by Saq and his team along with some stonework and asphalt paving to complete the project. They did an amazing job; we highly recommend their services. Saq showed up quickly for an estimate and the crew arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up nicely and were very pleasant and respectful of our property. We are very happy with the job!
Global Paving & Sealcoating repaved our private road - roughly 2/3rds of a mile long, with multiple families living on it. Saq won the bid through his diligence and expertise. He was the only person we spoke to who identified the drainage issues that were causing the road to break, and to identify a bridge that we didn't even know existed. The work was done promptly and to an excellent quality. Saq and team were fantastic to work with. Strong recommend.
