The paper trail on GNP Construction Corp. runs through permit offices more than review sites. Since 2024 the New Bedford company has pulled nine of them: a $115,000 rebuild of a single-family house on Moran Street in North Attleboro in May 2024, from footings and foundation through stick framing, siding, porch and roof; a $9,000 asphalt-shingle roof replacement in Medway in October 2025; and a run of sheet-metal, gas and electrical work on one- and two-family homes around Brockton, including a fire rehab on Hillcrest Avenue. The customer-facing side is much thinner. Angi and HomeAdvisor both list the company under shingle roof installs and repairs, note that it speaks Spanish, and pass on its claim of 14 years in the trade. Both carry the same lone five-star review from March 2022, in which a homeowner wrote that they were happy with the final result and hired the crew again for other projects. Its BBB page, opened in November 2022, is an A+ and describes a one-person operation. One thing to settle before you call: the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration in the corporation's name, #203663, is expired. That is a licence the company held and let lapse, not one it never needed, and the residential remodeling and roofing those permits describe is the kind of work it covers. BuildZoom scores the company 0 for the same reason, and lists it at a different street address and a different phone, (774) 762-0392, than the (774) 438-2243 and 120 Tarkiln Place on its BBB and HomeAdvisor pages. The fit here is a small outfit with a real, recent run of permitted residential work in the Brockton area, run by Alvaro Gomez Perez, and almost no public review history to check it against. Ask for the current registration status and confirm which phone and address belong to the entity you would be signing with.
