Gomes's Construction Inc

Roof replacement, siding and skylight repairs feature in customer accounts of Gomes's Construction Inc. One recent Arlington customer described replacement of soffits, liners, shingles and gutters on a three-story house, along with resealing roof skylights, and praised the time taken and price. The Brockton company says it handles residential and commercial roofing, siding, gutters, chimney and skylight work, repairs and insurance-claim assistance. Its stated service area includes Boston, Brockton, Framingham, Lexington and other Massachusetts towns. Recent customers describe both the work and how it was arranged. An April 2026 Google reviewer said Jose inspected roof soft spots the same day they contacted him, scheduled replacement within days and completed the work in two days. A Thumbtack customer that month said Mr. Gomes came to appraise a roof replacement the following morning and finished in a few days as promised. A June Google reviewer described an on-time crew, communication throughout the roof installation and cleanup afterward. Siding work has its own customer account. An August 2026 Thumbtack reviewer said Jose and his team arrived early and worked late to complete a home residing job. The customer said he answered their questions and worked with them and their insurer during the repair. Older accounts describe additional roof work. In December 2025, a customer said Jose responded on Sunday morning after a Saturday-evening call about a skylight installed incorrectly by other contractors. The reviewer said he repaired the roof before heavy rain and corrected other installation issues he found. A February 2024 customer described seeing shingle samples and hearing the work process explained before choosing the company. They said its quote was not the cheapest, but praised the completed roof replacement, replacement of a missing piece of siding and cleanup extending to a neighbor's driveway. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. BBB gives it an A+ grade and lists it as non-accredited. Google showed 5 stars from 89 ratings in August 2026.
