GoodHouse Flooring is a Danbury flooring company that describes itself on Houzz as a family owned and operated flooring store and installation company. A justice.gov page describes Goodhouse Flooring, LLC as a business providing floor installation and flooring products to retail and commercial customers, with David and Scott Benincasa as 50 percent owners. A newstimes.com article reports that David and Scott Benincasa admitted to filing false tax returns for their Danbury flooring company, Goodhouse Flooring. A recent Houzz customer said GoodHouse installed luxury vinyl floors bought from Floor and Decor, along with step runners, and called Scott and his team professional and patient. A 2020 customer described a kitchen, laundry room and half-bath project and said they were happy with the finished product. A 2016 customer said Scott came up to look at a hardwood refinishing job another company had left a mess of, and re-did it. A 2016 customer said the company was hired to rip up the old plywood and install a subfloor, a cushioning layer and engineered walnut floors on at least 900 square feet in the Casagmo Condos complex. A 2023 customer said the measuring team should have given an approximate estimate on material and didn't, wasting money on the material bought. A 2018 customer said the crew was fine with leaving a damaged piece of molding around a window until asked to cut a new piece, and that the manager was rude about it. A 2016 customer who ordered carpet installation through Danbury Lowe's said the installers left scuff marks and dents in the sheetrock of a newly remodeled bedroom, and that Scott said he gets a call like this about once a week. A 2015 customer said an installer punctured a hot water pipe while installing vinyl flooring in a bathroom, causing damage to the ceiling below, and denied responsibility.

Let me begin by saying that Scott and his Team were exceptionally professional and patient. We purchase luxury vinyl floors from Floor and Decor and GoodHouse did an amazing job installing them. My experience was quite pleasant, was treated with respect, patience and professionalism. We also installed step runners and they were exactly what we wanted it. Excellent work. We definitely would use Goodhouse again.
If you plan to go LL flooring Connecticut, ask for some best floor installer other than Good House LLC . Good house LLC is worst , wasting customer money on the material we bought , measuring team should have given approx est on material which they didnt . Customer money wasted . Wood and price was good with LL Flooring. Just because of this I wont suggest this installing company
From start to finish , Goodhouse and their staff were professional, prompt, hard working , and paid much attention to every detail to our kitchen , laundry room and 1/2 bath project. My wife and I are truly happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a job well done !
Awful. The crew is not professional - they only speak spanish - you can't communicate with them, the manager is arrogant and the owner is scattered and all over the place. They recently were wrapping up a job at my house, putiing their tools away, when I went out to inspect the job and they were fine with leaving a very damaged finishing piece of molding up around the window. They could clearly see how damaged it was and were fine with leaving the way it was. I had to ask them to pull their equipment back put of their truck and cut a new piece - the manager was nasty about it and annoyed. HE was dismissive to me and blatantly rude. I'd NEVER recommend this company; they are a mess. They don't call when they say they will, they just show up when you least expect it and they the crew is a disaster. DO NOT HIRE.
I am a very satisfied customer of Goodhouse Flooring and Design (contracted through Lowes). I agonized about remodeling my kitchen for years, but ended up pleasantly surprised that the job went so well. Professional, timely, courteous, and on-budget are terms not always associated with contractors. After many room remodels through the years, this was the first time ever that a project was completed perfectly and without delay. I would recommend this team 100% and will definitely use them again.
