Their estimates are also accurate! Highly recommend working with them. Their masonry is top-notch, and they also have a wonderful eye for plantings and overall landscape design.

Major gratitude goes out to Chris and Nolan from GRADE Landscape Design + Build for creating a beautiful playground oasis for our boys!! Hank and Arthur are obsessed with dirt, rocks and sand so we knew we needed to create an environment for them to play where they could use their imagination and embrace their curiosity. We also wanted something that would feel natural and timeless. It felt like we wanted to accomplish so many goals at once and the more I researched the more I wanted it to be. Then Chris entered the chat! I sent him only a few pictures of what I was thinking and he immediately understood the assignment. He designed a space that was everything we wanted and more! He's passionate about what he does and it's evident with the admirable attention to detail, commitment to design and creating a functional yet beautiful space. Chris is a kind, hardworking man and we couldn't have imagined anyone else designing such a perfect space - he got exactly what we wanted the vibe to be! Nolan brings the stonework, irrigation and industry expertise that helped make this project shine. We joked that he "does rock" because he whipped up a boulder sandpit in what felt like a matter of minutes, he's passionate about repurposed stones and was excited to tell us the history of the old curb the boys will now use to skip along. Chris and Nolan's expertise are perfect complements to each other which makes them a great team. They have an incredible work ethic, attention to deal and communication. But my favorite part was after a long day working (with some of the most extreme heat we've ever had) Hank and Arthur would run out and test out the newly installed slide or hop on the wooden stumps and Chris and Nolan would beam with joy. It was hard to see whose smiles were bigger - Hank/Arthur or Chris/Nolan. Thanks for bringing our family so much joy, guys! We'll miss having you here but know how much we appreciate all the hard work that went into making our yard so special. What's next??

We are incredibly happy with the outcome of our backyard project and we’re so impressed with Chris and Nolan’s work. They were very professional and communicative and we ended up with an amazing space. They scoped out the backyard and had a lot of great ideas when we were looking for ways to improve our space. They worked with us on the quote and were very thorough. They communicated a timeline and were able to start our project earlier than anticipated. They checked in throughout the project and got input when necessary. I was really impressed by their organization and care during the project. We needed to be able to let our dogs out at the end of the night so they set up a temporary fence and made sure it was secured every day when they stopped working. They were out in the rain and the snow to keep to the timeline. They took great care to layer materials and build a solid foundation to ensure the stone wouldn’t shift over time. They found some boulders in the ground when they were excavating and found ways to work them into the final design which was impressive. Everyone who has seen the finished work has been very impressed. I would highly recommend GRADE to anyone looking for high quality work with an amazing team.
