Stone walls, granite steps and patios feature in customer accounts of Granite State Stonescapes, with jobs ranging from outdoor renovations to natural stone veneer around a wood stove. Based in Goffstown, the company describes itself as a local, family-owned masonry and landscape-construction business with 25 years in business. Its website lists Goffstown, Auburn, Easton, Andover, Groton and Weare as service areas, and also advertises snow-management services. Google shows a 4.8-star average from 25 ratings. An April 2026 customer describes talking through the project with Joe before the team started, then finishing on time and on budget. Another April customer praises Joe’s project-design expertise, while a third singles out responsiveness. In a March 2026 Google review, a homeowner described natural stone veneer installed around a wood stove. They praised the layout and finish, said the team arrived when promised, and reported that the area was left clean. An October 2025 reviewer described replacing three granite steps, rebuilding an old brick walkway in bluestone, and adding a rear walkway and small patio. That customer called the quote transparent and detailed and said the worksite stayed neat throughout the project. A longer August 2024 account described a retaining wall for an eroding hill, yard regrading and seeding. The homeowner said Joe and Chris began within a week and that Joe moved a large boulder beside the new wall to free up space. After heavy rain washed away the seed, the reviewer said both returned to reseed and rake the yard, helped position sprinklers and lent their own equipment to get the grass started. Older customers described individual stonework and design decisions. A June 2023 reviewer said Joe carefully selected and fitted rocks for a stone wall, supplied a rough-edge granite lamp post, and arranged and supervised hydroseeding after cleanup. In a January 2022 review, a customer described two projects: rebuilding a retaining wall with granite posts, then creating an outdoor fireplace, Goshen stone patio and walkway, granite steps and lighting. That reviewer praised updates during the work. A September 2021 customer described reclaimed-granite walls and stairs with a bluestone patio, saying Joe worked with them on a design for a small backyard with grading and elevation changes.
