Grasso Family Moving runs local moves out of Malden, and the name reviewers keep mentioning is Jeff — the person who handles estimates and shows up on move day himself. The clearest recent account is from March: a customer whose original mover never showed called Grasso at midnight, and a crew was there twelve hours later, packing everything safely at what the reviewer called a good price. That kind of responsiveness runs through the company's broader history too — a 4.7-star average on Google from a dozen ratings, plus repeated mentions on outside review sites of clear communication and a professional crew. Not every outside read is quite as glowing: greatguysmove.com, which scores movers across dozens of data points, put Grasso at a more middling 7.25 out of 10. The sample size here is also still on the smaller side — 12 Google ratings and seven written reviews spanning about three years, not the deep multi-hundred-review history some bigger movers can show. For a straightforward local move where a fast, hands-on response matters more than fleet size, the reviews on file are consistently positive. It's a company still building its public track record, so a quick check-in on availability and crew size before booking is a reasonable step.

These movers were amazing! We called other movers days before, but they didn't come. So we called this one at midnight and they came 12 hours later! They packed everything safely, they were friendly, and they had a good price! If we had to move again, we would for sure call this company again.

My wife and I recently used Grasso Family Moving for a local move, and I couldn't be more impressed with their level of professionalism and efficiency. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. I would 100% recommend Jeff in his team to anyone, and will certainly utilize his team for our next move!

I needed a mover in a hurry when a file cabinet I purchased was only delivered curbside instead of to its location, like I expected. Jeff was very professional, asking questions to determine the scope of the move and emailed me an estimate before work began. It did take a couple of days and back and forth texts to schedule, but I understand how, after a long day's work, especially physical work, it can be hard to get to the administrative stuff. Once the job was scheduled, within my required timeframe, Jeff kept in constant contact and kept me informed of delays the morning of. When they arrived, he and his employee took great care in scoping out what was needed to move the file cabinet (which turned out to be much heavier that I thought) safely and without damaging anything. When they were done, they broke down the big box the file cabinet came with for me. I assume because the move took less than the required minimum, they also offered to move something else for me. I would definitely recommend Grasso Family Moving. I appreciate that he accommodated my small job with a tight timeframe during a busy moving season.
