Juan was great, started the project on time , communicated with me through out the whole project. Very clean and neat. The wall came out beautiful. And the price was great. I will hire him again soon for my next project. You will not be disappointed with his workRichard ..

Juan seems to have completed a decent job with my foundation & footing drains. I really cannot rate the construction of the foundation or the function of the footing drains (drains were tested with a hose) since we have had no major T-storms this year; the crawl space & boiler room are dry. I will know after this winter if all is up to par. Juan did complete the job as quoted. Juan & crew are personable & speak English well enough. I hired them to repair my front steps, as well, & reinstall the railing. I previously had a person here who had no clue what he was doing despite he said he did. This job turned into a bit of a problem; I have blue stone treads. One tread was broken by Juan's worker & another from Juan drilling with a hammer drill without using water. Juan replaced both treads. I have 5 minor complaints; 1) Juan dumped the excess concrete/cement from the first job by my raspberry bushes & a drain that runs from the garage north wall. I found dried cement in the drainage pipe & this area. I asked him to remove the dried cement when he finished the first job. He did break up the cement after the second job but left the broken dried cement in the area & I found a piece of dried cement (3" x 4" x 2") in the drainage pipe. I managed to remove this cement from the pipe. It would be nice if Juan removed these pieces of broken cement off my property. 2) Juan backed his truck to my front steps over another drainage pipe, left tire skids in the lawn. Hope this drain is not crushed. 3) On the first job; Juan was to back fill soil up to a particular line on the foundation. He did not; I had to buy 50 (?) or more bags of top soil & pay someone to complete this job. This soil level is important as it determines that my footings are below freeze level as per code. 4) At the corner of the railing; the blue stone is cracked (drilling mishap) & a chunk has fallen out. Not sure if Juan is aware of this. 5) Juan & crew used a couple of my tools, wheelbarrow, wood for support (the wood I told him he could use) & 5 gallon buckets I had around. I need my 5 gallon buckets returned as they come in handy for my own use. I would think they would come to a job equipped with their own materials. All in all, not too bad of an experience. Thanks.
His work was sloppy. He damaged the irrigation in the area. He dumped garbage onto adjoining property and we had to clean it up. He refuses to repair and does not have insurance. We paid him and discovered the problems after he was paid.
Juan did a good job gave the best price and was able to do it with out me having to wait 3 weeks to get it done. I would hire him again.
