Guillaume Electric is a young, one-person electrical outfit based in Braintree, Massachusetts, and its short public record so far is a clean sweep: three Thumbtack reviews from 2026, every one a five-star account of the same thing — someone who shows up, explains what he's doing, and leaves the job done right. The most detailed of the three, from July 2026, describes a customer whose outlet had failed and knocked out the air conditioning; Guillaume Electric fixed the outlet and tested every circuit in the house before calling it done, and the AC has run fine since. Two June 2026 reviews tell a similar story from a lighting installation — punctual, explained the process clearly, and cleaned up the work area before leaving. Thumbtack lists him as a Journeyman Electrician licensed in Massachusetts, though that's the platform's own claim rather than an independent check against the state registry. The business itself is only two years old and has been hired twice through Thumbtack, so this is still a small sample — worth keeping in mind even though nothing in it points the other way. For straightforward residential electrical work — outlet and circuit troubleshooting, lighting installs — the early signs here are good; just don't expect a long history to lean on yet.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Guillaume Electric. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
Guillaume Electric fixed the problems regarding the outlet and getting the a/c unit back on, and did a lot of testing of all the electrical circuits throughout the house. The a/c is running beautifully. He worked hard, was a great problem solver, and has good interpersonal skills. I'd definitely hire him again.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend this electrician highly enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free. They arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and completed the work with exceptional attention to detail. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and it's clear they take great pride in what they do. They were respectful of my home, cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed, and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. It's not easy to find someone who is knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction, but this electrician exceeded all of my expectations. If you're looking for honest, high-quality electrical work, look no further. I will definitely be using their services again and recommending them to family and friends! Thank you for the amazing job!
I had a great experience working with this electrician. He came to my home and installed some lighting for me, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. He was professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. His workmanship was excellent, and he left the area clean when the job was complete. It's hard to find someone reliable these days, and I truly appreciated his attention to detail and positive attitude. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality electrical work. I will definitely be using his services again in the future!
