Harrison Concrete is based on Skunk Hill Road in Fairfax, Vermont. “Avoid anyone that uses Harrison Concrete. Nothing wrong with them as a company but the actual concrete isn’t good”
“There are plenty of aggregrate processing companies (Whitcomb, SLC, Pike has their own pit, GW Tatro has their own, Harrison Concrete...).”
“the windmills on Georgia mountain primarily power their sugaring operation and the Harrison concrete plant off arrowhead lake and skunk hill rd.”
“I needed some rocks delivered and called 802 Landscaping, Rail City, and Harrison Concrete. Only 802 Landscaping returned my call.”
“I’d maybe check Harrison concrete and gravel in Georgia, Whitcombs in colchester/winooski, or SLC in Shelburne.”
They have always treated me well. I do my own pours and am not an expert.
Carrara Concrete was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout our concrete slab review process. After concerns were identified with slab performance at our facility, their team provided clear communication, useful technical insight, and support in helping us understand the condition of the concrete and the next steps available. From a facility-management standpoint, we appreciated their professionalism and willingness to engage with the issue directly. Commercial concrete work involves real operating demands, including equipment traffic, moisture exposure, cleaning, maintenance, and long-term durability expectations. Carrara approached the situation with the level of seriousness and communication we would expect from a professional concrete company. Their team was respectful, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented. They helped clarify the situation, supported the assessment process, and remained focused on practical outcomes rather than avoiding the issue. Based on our experience, Carrara Concrete handled the matter professionally and earned our confidence.
Very easy to work with, there truck are second to none The drivers always put the concrete exactly where you need it because the driver controls everything from the driver seat
I really don’t know why they advertise on the radio, for homes foundations. We called twice, both times talked to the lady up front. Never once they have returned our calls. No wonder SD Ireland is so big around here.
They are #1 in the state and very professional. We are pleased with their service.
