Hassett Electrical Services is a Foxborough electrical contractor whose recent customers repeatedly describe fast responses, clear communication, and finished residential work. The company says it provides electrical contracting in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and a Massachusetts registry check lists electrician license 10974 as active with Stephen Hassett as the holder of record. Homeowners have hired the team for lighting, wiring, outlets, smoke detectors, fans, timers, thermostats, and data wiring. Recent reviews describe a closet light and smoke-detector work, a detailed troubleshooting visit, recessed lights, wiring repair, and exhaust-fan replacement; several customers mention prompt arrival, updates, and clean completion. A 2024 review describes a complex emergency data-wiring job where Steve came with tools and solved the urgent problem. There is one clear counterexample worth discussing before booking: a July 2024 customer said a thermostat installation failed, caused a system problem, and required later HVAC work. Other reviews praise reasonable pricing and communication, but confirm thermostat compatibility, scope, and who handles related HVAC issues when requesting that type of work. Hassett looks best suited to homeowners seeking an electrician for lighting, wiring, repairs, and smaller installation projects, with a track record that is broad but not uniformly positive. Confirm the exact equipment, price, schedule, and completion standard before work begins.
Steve was prompt and replaced a closet light fixture and replace a few smoke and detectors. I would definitely hire him again for any electrical work
I highly recommend Hassett Electrical, they were professional, efficient, texted me with EtA and arrived on time. They were also very pleasant!
The electrician arrived on time as scheduled. He diagnosed the problem and offered alternative solutions. After explaining the cause, I chose the solution that worked best for our situation. He had all of the diagnostic tools and was proficient in their use. He had the replacement parts on hand and did the installation effectively. He cleaned up after and offered payment methods. I will use them again if need be.
Well, the technician came and spent ~ 1.5 hours but still cannot install the thermostat (a pretty standard one from Home Depot), while charged the same rate. Moreover, he cut a dry wall board and did not install the old thermostat back properly. This caused another problem later during our AC maintenance, which wasted another $380 from us.
Steve was amazing from start to finish! He was very quick and professional with communication, gave timely updates prior to arrival, walked me through everything he was doing and was very kind and skilled in his services. He was also reasonably priced — I will definitely be hiring him again in the future!
